WYNCOTE, PA -- Old Country Buffet, the Eagan, Minnesota based chain of traditional “home cooking” restaurants has opened a freestanding 10,000 square foot restaurant at the East Cedarbrook Plaza Shopping Center in Wyncote. East Cedarbrook is a 3.5 acre outlot expansion of the 600,000 square foot Cedarbrook Plaza on Cheltenham Avenue. Construction of the three building expansion started in 2004 and was fully leased in only a few months. Old Country Buffet operates over 360 restaurants nationwide and the new East Cedarbrook location is the company’s 10th store in the Philadelphia market. Commenting on the new store opening, Cedarbrook Plaza Property Manager, Lori Ann Stopyra said, " With the arrival of Old Country Buffet, the first Phase of our East Cedarbrook development is complete, and we are now turning our attention to Phase 2 which will include 40-50,000 square feet of additional retail space." Cedarbrook Plaza is anchored by Wal Mart, Pathmark, Toys ‘R Us, and includes Modell’s Sporting Goods, A. J. Wright, Hollywood Video, Dots and Bally’s Total Fitness.
