HEMPSTEAD, NY June 2006 -- Nassimi Realty Corp. has plans for a major renovation and expansion of East Meadow Commons, a two-building strip center located on the North side of Hempstead Turnpike at Wantagh Parkway, just east of the Nassau County Medical Centre. Construction began this spring to convert a former roller skating rink building into 30,000 sf of retail space. Leases have been signed for four retail spaces in the renovated building including a new Charlie Brown’s restaurant, Floris Spa, Joyce Leslie women’s apparel store and Kidz II a children’s party center. Renovations will include a new roof and front facade for the building as well as an expanded parking lot.

A second 21,000 sf building which previously housed a Pop Boys center will be renovated for a junior anchor store as well as additional inline stores.
