WYNCOTE, PA, – Two additional retailers, Cold Stone Creamery and LJ’s Total Man Designer Fashions have signed leases for stores in the newly opened East Cedarbrook Plaza, an out lot expansion of the Cedarbrook Plaza shopping center on Cheltenham Ave.

Cold Stone Creamery is one of the most successful franchise operations in the country with more than 1,000 stores. The 1,800 square foot East Cedarbrook store will offer super-premium ice cream, yogurt and Italian sorbet made fresh on site every day. Cold Stone’s ice cream creations are made to order by blending “mix-ins” on a frozen granite stone. They are served in a freshly baked waffle cone, a bowl, or formed into a personalized cake.

LJ’s Total Man Designer Fashions offers a collection of European and American suits and casual wear including leather coats, sweaters, shoes, slacks, shirts, jeans and tuxedo rentals. The 2,600 square foot East Cedarbrook store is scheduled to open later this summer.

Ground was broken for the 27,000 square foot East Cedarbrook Plaza late last year. Open stores includes a Joyce Leslie women’s apparel store, a Payless ShoeSource and a Sprint Store. Mike Nassimi, President of the center’s owner Nassimi Realty Corp. said “We will begin construction this summer on a free standing Old Country Buffet restaurant which will open in early 2006. With the signing of Cold Stone Creamery and LJ’s Total Man, our Phase I development of East Cedarbrook is now a hundred percent leased. We can now turn our attention to Phase 2 development, which will add an additional 40-50,000 square feet to our center.”

East Cedarbrook is located just to the east of Nassimi Realty’s 600,000 square foot Cedarbrook Plaza which is anchored by Wal-mart, Pathmark and Toys ‘R Us, and includes Modell’s Sporting Goods, A. J. Wright, Hollywood Video, Dots and Bally’s Total Fitness.

Winbrook Management, Inc. of New York City represented the owners, Nassimi Realty, Corp., in leasing the new stores. Winbrook is the leasing and management agent for over two million square feet of commercial and retail space throughout the greater New York, New Jersey, Florida, Ohio and Philadelphia markets
