WAL-MART OPENS AT CEDARBROOK PLAZA SHOPPING CENTER
WYNCOTE, PA, - Taking part in the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremonies held recently in the new Wal-Mart at Cedarbrook Plaza are (left to right) Mike Nassimi, president of Nassimi Realty the shopping center owners, Cheltenham Township Commissioner Paul R. Greenwald and Wal-Mart store manager Allan McWethy.

The new 114,075 square foot store is located on Cheltenham Avenue in space that was formerly occupied by K-Mart. The new store is expected to employ upwards of 300 associates. During the opening Wal-Mart contributed more than $24,000 to 24 area non-profit organizations including Children’s Miracle Network, United Way, The Greater Philadelphia Food Bank, Big Brothers and the local Lions Club.
