WYNCOTE, PA, -- Wal-Mart has signed a long-term lease for a new store at Cedarbrook Plaza in Wyncote, PA. The 113,055 square foot store will be located on Cheltenham Avenue in a space that was formerly occupied by K-Mart. The K-Mart closed late last year as part of the Chapter 11 reorganization. Prior to opening the Wal-Mart store late this summer, a new façade and entrance to the store will be added and other site improvements will be performed.

Commenting on the new Wal-Mart, Cedarbrook Plaza Property Manager, Lori Stopyra said, "Having Wal-Mart join our center is a great asset. They are a first class operator, and their selection of our center is further confirmation that we have one of the strongest retail locations in our area."

Other retailers at Cedarbrook Plaza include Pathmark, Toys ’R Us, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Frank’s Nursery and Crafts, A. J. Wright, Hollywood Video, Bare Feet Shoes, Citizens Bank, Sovereign Bank, DOTS, Dollar Tree and NovaCare.
