Clifton Resident and Active Member of Community Named Branch Manager

Oak Ridge, N.J. – February 11, 2019 – Lakeland Bank is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of a new branch in Clifton, NJ located at 11 Ackerman Ave. The branch is expected to open on March 4, 2019 and Lakeland Bank will host a Grand Opening in early June to celebrate with the Clifton community and surrounding areas. The Clifton location marks the 51st branch office for Lakeland Bank which will celebrate its 50th anniversary this May.

To efficiently service the needs of the community, Lakeland Bank has hired six associates for the branch, four of which are bilingual. Perry Lighty, a Clifton resident and active member of the community, has been named Branch Manager.

Perry Lighty was hired by Lakeland Bank in 2018 as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager of the Carlstadt office. He was formerly a Vice President, Branch Manager at Chase Bank. Lighty is a Board Member of the Paterson Great Falls Rotary Club and Paterson/Passaic Boys and Girls Club, as well as a member of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce which supports non-profit organizations in Clifton, and he volunteers at the Clifton Boys and Girls Club. Lighty is also on the District XI Ethics Committee of New Jersey and is an active volunteer with the Great Falls Food Pantry.
